Challenge: Jhpiego, an organization focused on improving global health through innovative solutions, sought to provide leadership support to a group of senior leaders across multiple country offices. The goal was to create a safe, confidential space for reflection and growth through one-on-one executive coaching. The engagement needed to accommodate the diverse realities of each leader while supporting their personal and professional development.
Offering & Process: Aminata led a six-month executive coaching program rooted in the Integral Coaching® methodology. She worked closely with each participant to co-create an individualized coaching journey. The process began with chemistry calls, followed by a private intake session to identify a meaningful coaching focus. Each program was then designed around that person’s developmental goals, using metaphors, embodied practices, and awareness-based tools. Sessions took place biweekly, with core coaching sessions and a final completion session to reflect on the growth and lessons learned. The process emphasized building trust and confidentiality from the outset, ensuring participants could engage with ease. Aminata also supported participants between sessions with curated tools, reflections, and practices tailored to their evolving needs.
Results: The coaching process created transformational openings for each leader. Participants reported greater clarity on their leadership approach, enhanced emotional awareness, and stronger alignment between their values and actions. They developed strategies to navigate complexity with more confidence and presence. The depth of trust built over the sessions laid the groundwork for sustained change, and several participants expressed interest in continuing the coaching relationship beyond the formal engagement. Jhpiego gained a stronger leadership bench equipped to lead with intention, resilience, and impact.
